Last week I was back in one of my favourite places, Dubai. For this visit I’d been invited, as a speaker, to the Planners Xtraordinaire Show. This new show is a closed door congress, bringing together the leading luxury wedding and event planners from across the globe. The show was a chance to spend some time with colleagues from all over the world, in this wonderful eclectic industry, and also share some of my knowledge of managing high-profile events.
I always feel fortunate to do a job that I love. I mention this quite a lot, but it really is true. Planning weddings and events for a living is pretty awesome. I'm also fortunate to work with some wonderful people, including the team of people that help at our events but also the most amazing clients...
My feet have just touched the floor after returning from Engage!16 last week. What an incredible three days. I mentioned on the blog previously that I was heading out to Puglia in Italy for the luxury wedding business summit, which was held at Borgo Egnazia in the South Eastern Region of Italy.
