My feet have just touched the floor after returning from Engage!16 last week. What an incredible three days.
I mentioned on the blog previously that I was heading out to Puglia in Italy for the luxury wedding business summit, which was held at Borgo Egnazia in the South Eastern Region of Italy.
The luxury wedding event saw wedding and event professionals from 34 countries come together to share strategies, discuss developments in the industry and have meaningful network experiences with the best in the industry. It was a very full three days, with so much to learn and share from an amazing mix of inspiring and visionary leaders in the wedding and event industry, and a chance to connect with colleagues from across the world. My highlights for the week included hearing from Preston Bailey, Marcy Blum and Cindy Novotny, but these are just a few among many. Engage!16 is another reminder of how fortunate I am to work in an industry I adore, and it was wonderful to spend time with like minded professionals and friends who believe, as I do, how wonderful it is to be a wedding and event planner and how important it is to continually learn and be your best.
Engage! did not fail to impress with the first event in Europe. As attendees we were looked after incredibly well, with a mix of learning, networking and fun throughout the three days. I would also like to thank the amazing Borgo Egnazia for their fabulous hospitality. I am missing my sea view and very beautiful room this week!
